How did you & your partner meet? : We worked together on the “ET” ride at Disney when we were 17.

Where was your first date? : It is sort of hard to say. We “hung out” a few times over the years, but neither of us were very sure if it was a date or not. I think the first time I was in date mode was at The Wine Room in Winter Park.

How did your partner propose? : He took me to the Grey Ghost Vineyards in Virginia. It is named after a distant relative of mine. He said we were going for a tour and we were to meet the guide at the gazebo. He dropped to one knee and proposed. When I looked up, my parents and his parents and siblings were all there too!

What was your dress shopping experience like? : Can I use emojis here? 🥰🥰🤩. Tali was my fairy “dressmother”. She pulled a gown based on my tastes and interests. It was the first dress I put on. Damn, she’s good!

What did you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?: I wish I had arranged an event for people traveling from out of town. I feel like I didn’t get to spend quality time with everyone.

Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: Our wedding was at Orchid Garden at Church Street.

What's your favorite memory from your event? : Getting confused during the vows!

What is a 'must have' for brides on wedding day?: You have got to have the right people around you. My bridesmaids and “bridesman” kept me calm and happy. Also, make sure you eat a solid lunch.

How would you describe the overall feel of your event? : Classic romance with a few nods to our favorite films.

What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides? : Bring one friend on the dress search. Bring the one who will give it to you straight. Bring the one who will calm your mother. You don’t need too many cooks in the kitchen.

Where was your honeymoon? : Oahu
