How did you & your partner meet?: We met playing intramural softball at the University of Florida.

Where was your first date?: Our first date was at the Adams Rib Co. restaurant in Gainesville, FL.

How did your partner propose?: He had decorated my parent’s front porch and gazebo with all of these old pictures of us, lights, candles, and rose petals! He took me on a walk down memory lane and then popped the question!

What was your dress shopping experience like? : It was AMAZING!! Roberta actually is the one who picked out my dress, it was not one that was on my radar at all! The store is so intimate and I felt so special being the only bride in picking out my dress. My family and I had a great experience!

What did you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?: I wish I had known to get my dress first! My dress is a much different feel than what I had thought the wedding was originally going to be, so I had to change the style a bit after getting my dress!

Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: It’s going to be at Valley View in Alachua, FL. It’s the perfect combination of elegant space and beautiful scenery.

What's your favorite memory from your event?: From the engagement session, my favorite part was having our puppy there to take pictures! He was such a ham!

What is a 'must have' for brides on wedding day? : It is so important to make sure you have a good time! A lot of brides forget to have a good time and get overly stressed.

How would you describe the overall feel of your event?: Rustic elegance.

What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides?: Plan early!! It can never hurt to be ahead of schedule!

Where was your honeymoon?: It is going to be in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
