Congratulations, The Bridal Finery real bride, Ally!

Ally is a bride our whole team loved styling. She lights up every room she walks in and does it in the most fabulous way. TBF Owner and Stylist, Roberta styled Ally for her wedding day. Ally wore a blush beaded Theia wedding gown that features a cold shoulder and soft flutter sleeves. Roberta completed her look with a gold crown with bow details and drop earrings by Maria Elena Headpieces and a silk tulle veil by Girl and a Serious Dream. Ally’s passion and natural eye for fashion made styling her a dream. We love Ally’s passion for styling so much that we asked her to join us for our Met Gala 2019 Facebook live coverage. Where was your first date? : Our first date was in 2013 at Rebounders (indoor trampoline). While this was our first date, we met through being roommates/craigslist ad and started dating that. Our first date was like having 5 dates in one.

How did your partner propose? : In the most elaborate way. He tricked me into thinking I was doing a photo shoot with my best friend and surprised me with a proposal, live music played by our friends, and our family that came in from all over Florida, New Jersey, and Colorado.

What was your dress experience like? : My dress experience was one of the best parts of my wedding planning process. I’ve worked in retail for years and have a true appreciation for the client experience. The Bridal Finery is unmatched when it comes to that. From the intimate ambiance with one fitting room to the personal connections that Roberta, Tali, and Jamie establish with their brides—I am a Bridal Finery STAN!

Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: Orchid Garden! We fell in love with the Victorian architecture and stained glass. It was everything we wanted in a venue!

What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides? : GET A PLANNER! I don’t know what we would have done without ours on the day of. It is not a luxury, it is a necessity!

Where was your honeymoon? : We took a mini moon to St. Augustine and will be taking a two week trip to Spain in the spring!
