Top 5 Bridal Hair Accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces
Top Headpieces by Bridal Accessories Designer, Maria Elena Headpieces
Let’s explore our favorite accessories designer and her top hairpieces from the Maria Elena Headpieces collection! Maria Elena is known worldwide for heirloom jewelry and custom wedding accessories.
For over a decade bridal accessory designer Maria Elena has created timeless and unique pieces that have been seen and featured all over the world. Her handmade creations are something brides can cherish forever and with such attention to detail and quality, it is no wonder she has such a presence in the bridal world.
Every season she is proving that bridal jewelry is not just your typical diamond stud or pearl comb anymore. After years of perfecting her craft, she is now sought out by well known bridal gown designers like Berta and Sareh Nouri to create accessories that complement their latest collections. Her collaboration with Berta can be seen on their Fall 2020 runway show. Since the debut of her large pearl headband from the Berta Fall 2020 show, headbands have been seen on pages of Brides magazine and The Knot as a top accessory for 2020.
Her headpieces are what started her on this journey and an accessory in your hair can really be the finishing touch for your bridal style. In celebration of that I’ve put together my favorite headpieces that showcase the artistic beauty of her bridal pieces.
Juliette Crown
No matter what age or decade we are in, a bridal crown is always beautiful. Some are much more dramatic than others of course, but even still it can add so much to a look. The Juliette crown is somewhat in between where you have a beautiful presence without being overpowering or getting lost in the look and that is why it is one of my favorites. I love that this pearl and swarovski crystal embellished crown with its unique details like the large imperfectly shaped pearls that border across the top. It is modern yet timeless. Wear your hair down and flowy with this placed on top or style it in a voluminous updo, it works well with any hairstyle you choose. This pearl bridal crown in their custom antique gold metal gives that extra pop that puts this crown in my favorites category.
Balilti headband
As mentioned before, the bridal headband is one of the big accessory trends this year and Maria Elena has been creating them for years.
The Balilti headband designed for the Berta fall 2020 runway show is a sure showstopper and the next on my top 5 favorites. The high set blush velvet headband is covered with rustic finish metal vines that are topped with large white pearls and multi-colored Swarovski crystals. This over the top headpiece is the perfect choice for a bride who is fashion-forward and all about a modern wedding look.
Gisele Hair Comb
If you are looking for a headpiece to enhance your bridal look with warm colors and floral elegance, the Gisele is all that and more. This head length bridal hair comb has Swarovski crystal-encrusted leaf work and mother of pearl flowers in warm hues of gold that can be a headband beneath a veil or drape across to create a botanical garden in your hair. No matter how you wear it, this piece just has a way of shaping itself to look unique on each bride and that is why it is part of my top 5 favorites.
Gianna Tiara
When I think about creating a more regal look, a classic bridal crown is what I grab. One that I love to style with is the Gianna tiara. If a bride wants to have a princess moment this crown has a large presence but modern detail and elegance. The soft ivory, ream, and white mother of pearl flowers add color to the Swarovski crystals that are delicately placed by hand. Set on top of a wedding veil for a classic feel or worn with free-spirited curls, the Gianna crown is sure to make you the bridal princess you dream of.
Celestial Star Headband
The final pick in my top 5 favorites is a headband that was another exclusive creation for Berta bridal. The celestial stars headband is a handcrafted cluster of Swarovski crystal stars that look so elegant in a hairstyle and really add a unique element to a bride's look. The little details of crystals catch the light effortlessly as you move and the design itself blends well with so many different bridal gown styles. It is a piece that you can really make into your own by how you work it into your wedding day look and that is what I love most about it.
From princess crowns to bridal constellations, there is nothing Maria Elena can’t master in a hair accessory. I love working with her collections every day in our bridal boutique and I can’t wait to see these stunning headpieces on brides again!
