About The Bridal Finery

The Bridal Finery opened in 2017 in Winter Park, FL. The boutique is locally owned and operated by two Orlando women. The boutique offers off-the-rack and special order wedding dresses. During a private bridal appointment, brides will work one on one with a stylist to find their wedding dress and accessories. We provide a full customer service experience throughout the client’s engagement from the initial connection until their walk down the aisle. We host in-house alteration fittings and in-store trunk show events. Our sample sizes range from 2-18. Price ranges from $2,500 to $13,000.

Benefits: 

$16 - $18 an hour + commission

Paid Vacation Time  & Holidays after 90 days

Hours & Schedule: 

A set schedule is provided. The evenings and weekends are the busiest time in the salon so this position requires working at least three Saturdays per month. Expect to close four times a week. The boutique is closed on Sundays; however, occasionally open for bridal events 4-8 times a year. 

Expectations of an Accessories Sales Stylist: 

  • Driven to meet and exceed sales goals. 

  • Create a once in a lifetime bridal shopping experience and provide an elevated customer experience. An average bridal appointment is three hours from start to finish. You must be able to maintain a positive environment throughout. 

  • Develop a relationship-selling-based book of clientele to build referrals. 

  • Must be comfortable presenting to groups of 12 and of all ages with the ability to connect with each and every one of them. 

  • Style customers from head-to-toe, including wedding dresses, hairpieces, veils, undergarments, and jewelry.

  • Share events and follow up on services with all clients and prospects.

  • Develop and maintain a professional Instagram and other social media presence to promote your styling skills. 

  • Follow up on all purchase orders and off-the-rack sales. 

  • Assist in the execution of trunk shows and in-store events.

  • Follow merchandise guidelines in maintaining the floor and backroom area. 

  • Return all communication (phone calls, texts, or e-mails) within the same day

The Bridal Finery’s ideal Accessories Sales Stylist:

● Has at least 1 years of proven sales experience. 

● Is highly organized and documents all notes with current accounts and potential accounts.

● Represents themselves in a professional manner 

● Is confident and enthusiastic when presenting information to decision-makers.

● Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel to meetings. 

● Understands the power of social media.

● Has natural curiosity, is passionate, and has a strong desire to learn.

● Is consistent and persistent with follow-ups to potential clients to close sales.

● Preferred experience in the wedding & event industry.

  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to engage and persuade.

  • “That’s not my job” is not in your vocabulary.

  • You’re hyper-focused on getting the details right.

  • You can’t work alone and need to be told what to do when there is “downtime.”

  • You cannot complete tasks quickly (sometimes with a 24-hour turnaround time).

  • You can’t handle regular and detailed feedback. 

  • You have a tendency to procrastinate.
