+ How long does it take to make a custom wedding dress?

In total it will take about 6 - 8 months for your dress to come in once it's in production. Rush options are available for shorter engagements.

+ Why should I buy a custom wedding dress?

A custom, made to order wedding dress is truly your own. Nothing is more frustrating than falling in love with a dress, but wishing the neckline was slightly different. Here at The Bridal Finery, we can make that change happen. Neckline changes are the most common; however, other changes are available. Even if you don't make a single change to your dress, it's a special experience wearing a designer gown not worn by hundreds of other brides.

+ What will my bridal appointment be like?

When you book a bridal appointment at The Bridal Finery, you book an experience. You will be styled privately in one of our spacious bridal boutiques. You and your chosen guests will receive a full two hour styling experience. We will be here to provide you with “out of the box” suggestions and you’ll have access to try on as many dresses as you wish. We are known for finding the wedding dress within the first three tried on. Once we find the one we will be here to help you with the next steps including accessory styling and stepping up an alterations plan.

+ How does payment for a made to order wedding dress work?

We only require a 60% deposit. The final balance is due after the dress arrives to the boutique. There is no finance fee for doing a deposit instead of paying in full. We will provide free storage until your alterations start.

+ Will my custom wedding dress come altered?

Your custom dress will come in with your closest dress size. It will still need to be tailored, hemmed, and bustled. It is customary to tailor your dress as every bride has a preference on how tailored they would like their dress to be. We will help you set up the best alterations plan to have the dress ready for your wedding day. Also, we will provide you with recommendations on day-of steaming.
