The Most Influential Celebrity Brides of 2018
2018 has been full of so many celebrity weddings and influential brides. People Magazine posted 112 celebrity weddings of the year, however, we are going to cover the top ten most influential weddings and brides. While reviewing all the celebrity brides and weddings, we believe these are the top 10 most influential brides of 2018. These are in no particular order, however, stay tuned! On December 29 at 9 am on Facebook & Instagram live, we will list them from most influential to least influential. Who do you think is the most bride of 2018?
Meghan Markle: In Givenchy & Stella McCartney on her wedding day
The 2018 Royal Wedding will be talked about for generations to come. As the weeks and days leading up to the Royal Wedding, everyone wanted to know “Which designer is making Meghan Markle’s wedding gown?” Though buzz was going around that Ralph & Russo was designing her gown, she chose Givenchy. Meghan’s gown was a classic modifed A-line with a betaux neckline and three-quarter sleeves. Meghan’s ceremony look was competed with a 16.5 foot ivory veil with hand embroidery.
Though Meghan’s reception dress isn’t photographed nearly as much as her ceremony gown, her reception wedding gown by Stella McCartney was highly talked about. Brides and fashion lovers fell in love with Meghan’s neckline and chic silhouette.
Mandy Moore: Wore a Pink Tulle Wedding gown by Rodarte
This is Us star, Mandy Moore said “ I do” to singer/songwriter Taylor Goldsmith in a pink wedding gown by Rodarte. Many Moore has become a fashion icon on the red carpet, so it’s no surprise she made a statement on her wedding day. When celebrities get engaged, I always hope to see them wear something unexpected and fashion forward. Mandy Moore & Taylor Goldsmith’s intimate wedding was in Moore’s backyard in Pasadena, California. Her pink & tulle dress was perfect for an outside wedding.
Chiara Ferragni: A Dior Dream
Blogger, Chiara (@theblondesalad) wedding was one of the most talked about weddings of the year. From her two Dior wedding gowns to night ending carnival, this wedding will be blogged and talked about for a while. Chiara wore two different Dior wedding dresses. Her ceremony look was a classic gown with a mondern approach; she wore a crochet lace romper with a high neckline and sleeves. This was completed with a full tulle over skirt and a simple raw edge veil. Chiara did a wonderful job of looking bridal, but staying current and fashion forward. Her second look was a petite blush ball gown with hand embroidery and design.
Chanel Iman: Wearing Zurhair Murad to her Dreamy Wedding
Victoria’s Secret model, Chanel Iman & and Wide Receiver for the New York Giants, Sterling Shepard said “I do” at a hotel in Beverly Hills. Their wedding was dreamy with white roses and light colors. Chanel worked with celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson to find her wedding look. They have worked together for years, so when Chanel was presented different wedding gowns, she chose Zuhair Murad because she has worn his gowns before and loves his fit. She wore the "Camilia" gown with bolero and cathedral veil. The “Camilia” gown is a modified A line with hand embroidery, silk tulle flower appliques.
Princess Eugenie: A Classic Bride Breaking Tradition
Princess Eugenie wore a classic Peter Pilotto & Zac Posen gown on her wedding day. Though her ceremony gown was a classic wedding gown with an open neckline & long sleeves, she technically was breaking tradition. Eugenie chose not to wear a veil on her wedding day. While she breaking tradition, she was using her voice. Eugenie was diagnosed with scoliosis at 11 and has a scar from it today. Eugenie tells Telegraph ““I believe scars are like memories that tell a story on your body, that remind you how strong you had to be, and that you survived to talk about it,”.
Hillary Swank Wears Elie Saab to her Redwoods Wedding
Hilary wore an Elie Saab wedding gown to her romantic wedding in the Redwoods. She and her husband Philip fell in love over bottomless brunch. Hilary told Vogue, “We met at 10:00 a.m. and parted ways at 11:00 p.m.,” “We clearly enjoyed our time!”. Her gown was a soft shealth style with chantilly, silk chiffon, organza, and completed with embroidery.
Barbra Bush Wears Vera Wang to her Maine Wedding
While the Royals seem to have stolen the spot light in 2018 wedding news, Barbra Bush, Former President’s Daughter also said “I do” in 2018. Barbra Bush exchanged vows with Craig Coyne at an their intimate wedding at the Bush family compound in Maine. Barbra wore a silk crepe spaghetti strap shealth style gown with a cowl neck and tulle cape by Vera Wang.
Wedding planning happened very quickly when her grandmother, passed away in April. She wanted to make sure her grandfather would be able to attend the wedding. With quick wedding planning, this meant she still needed a perfect dress. Wang told Today "The main thing she definitely wished to achieve was a certain modernity with an ethereal, delicate feel," the designer added. "At heart, she is a minimalist." .
Priyanka Chopra wears Ralph Lauren and Sabyasachi to her wedding in India
Priyanka Chopra is one of the most influential brides of 2018. From her weddings gowns to their love story, people world wide are talking about their wedding. For their western ceremony, Priyanka chose a Ralph Lauren wedding gown. Though Ralph Lauren has only previously designed two wedding gowns, Priyanka and Ralph Lauren have a long standing relationship. Her Indian ceremony wedding gown was by Sabaysachi. Karlie Kloss Wore a Classic Dior Gown to Her Wedding
Karlie Kloss wore a custom Dior wedding gown on her wedding day. Karlie Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner have been together for six years, but decided to get married only three months into their engagment. The couple exchanged vows in a dreamy forest. The couple did not share too many details from the wedding, however, People magazine reports there was 80 people at their intimate wedding in Upstate New York and the couple will have a larger party this spring. Her Dior wedding gown was designed with Chantilly lace gown paired with a v-neckline and delicate bow around her waist. Her look was very clean and classic with minimal makeup and classic hair.

Model Nazanin married singer and songwriter Miguel. The two have been together for over ten years, so fans couldn’t wait to see them finally exchange vows. Nazanin wore Monique Lhuillier on her wedding day. “I always knew I wanted Monique Lhuillier to design my wedding dress for the ceremony,” Nazanin told Vogue. Her gown was a fit & flair lace gown with illusion lace sleeves and a keyhole back. Nazanin’s wedding day look was complete with a classic Spanish style Mantilla veil.
