Bride Wears Cathedral Wedding Veil in Florida Wedding
Wedding Date: 03/19/2021
Wedding Venue: Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
Sarah was styled by TBF co-owner, Roberta Noronha. Her bridal look was complied of pieces from our favorite designers! From Ines Di Santo to Maria Elena. Her most notable accessories are her the Ines Di Santo Veil and Maria Elena headpiece and earrings. The two paired together completely elevated her final bridal look.
The Cathedral Length Veil is classic and most well-known veil. Because of the name and length of the veil, most brides think this veil only works for church ceremony weddings. However, the Cathedral veils give brides an elegant entrance at any venue.

How did you & Steven meet?
We met sophomore year of high school and have been dating ever since!
Where was your first date?
Our first date was at our local movie theater.
What do you love most about the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress?
I loved our cocktail hour space, and the floor to ceiling windows in the reception space. It was just the right size for the amount of guests we had.
How did Steven propose?
We were on our ten year anniversary trip, and he proposed at the top of a mountain in Saint Thomas
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?
I wish I would have known the importance of having a wedding planner/coordinator. We had to postpone our wedding because of the pandemic, and we hadn’t hired a wedding planner the first time around. For the new date, we hired Your Runway Events, and I couldn’t have imagined the day without them. They made everything so easy!
How would you describe the overall feel of your wedding?
I think there was a sense of relief that we had finally made it to the big day we had been planning for a couple of years, and everyone was so happy to celebrate with us after such a difficult year.
What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?
I tried on about 65-70 dresses at multiple shops, and really struggled with finding one that felt just right. When I went to the Bridal Finery, there was one on the rack that I noticed immediately, but passed it up because I didn’t think it would flatter my body type. I ended up trying it on last, and sure enough, it was the one!
What bridal accessory was your favorite?
My head piece and veil were my absolutely favorite.
How would you describe the overall feel of your wedding?
I think there was a sense of relief that we had finally made it to the big day we had been planning for a couple of years, and everyone was so happy to celebrate with us after such a difficult year.
What was your wedding color palette?
Mauve, dusty rose, neutrals
What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides?
Take it all in. From the proposal, bridal shower, planning process, and everything else in between. It is all so special
Where will your honeymoon be?
Sandals in Saint Lucia
What are you enjoying most about newlywed life?
We are just happy to be enjoying life together.
