How did you & your partner meet?
We met at a rehearsal for a Universal show I was cast for, Gus was my trainer.

How did Gus propose?
I hadn't been back to my home town in New Jersey in 5 years. Gus organized a trip with my parents, and surprised me a few days before we left. We went out to lunch with both of my parents and my step mother to one of my favorite local pubs and, afterwards took a walk along the beach. When we reached the end of the Island call sunset beach, a woman with a camera walked up and introduced herself to me. Gus told me since we would be performing in the area that coming summer that he wanted to have a photoshoot so we would have some promotional pictures to post. I was a little confused but thought it was a cute idea. During the photo shoot the photographer had us step out onto the jetty and told me to turn my back to Gus. When she finally told me to turn back around he was down on one knee with a ring in his hand. Turns out my mother had the ring in her bag and she handed it off to him right before the photo shoot.

What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?
My time dress shopping was so fun and easy. I've always heard people say how stressful it is to shop for your dress, but that was not experience at all. All the girls in the shop were attentive and very eager to help and work with out of the box ideas.

What bridal accessory was your favorite?
My bridal belt was absolutely my favorite! I wanted black accents to go with my dress and Tali pulled what was originally intended to be a headband and repurposed it as a belt and I adore it. Ive actually altered it so I can continue wearing it with other outfits.
What do you love most about your wedding venue?
I love how non traditional our wedding venue was. It felt more laid back and fun we got to play arcade games and great food and just enjoy the night.

What is one thing you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?
I wish I would have said no to pictures that weren't for the photographer. We spent almost the whole wedding taking individual photos with guests, we didn't even get to eat.

How would you describe the overall feel of your event?
It was a very laid back "Rock & Roll" feel.

What was your wedding color palette?
Black & Tan
What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides?
Get a wedding planner! I didn't have one and it was very stressful having to be in charge of everything on the day.

Where will your honeymoon be?
We’re waiting for a year or so but we will eventually honeymoon in Spain.
What are you enjoying most about newlywed life?
We love being married, although we don't feel like much has changed there's just more paperwork.
