A Destination Wedding in Cancun, Mexico Featuring Vibrant Wedding Colors and Butterflies

Congratulations to The Bridal Finery bride, Gabriela! Gabriela & Tony celebrated their special day in Cancun, Mexico surrounded by vibrant colors, butterflies, friends, and family. Our Fashion Director styled Gabriela for her colorful event. Gabriela had a vision for how she wanted to look and feel on her wedding day. Jamie was able to bring this vision to life with an illusion long sleeve and lace wedding gown by Ines Di Santo and the ‘Lazaro' Crown’ by Maria Elena Headpieces. The ‘Lazaro’ crown features butterflies made up of colorful Swarovski crystals, bringing in the overall romantic and colorful butterfly theme of the wedding. Gabriela’s crown was the final and complimenting touch to her sexy and fashion-forward bridal look as well as overall wedding.

Where was your first date? : Powerhouse smoothie cafe in Winter Park

How did your partner propose? : On the Skydeck at the top of the Willis tower in Chicago

What was your dress experience like? : I shopped a lot at all bridal boutiques in the area... finally found "the one" at The Bridal Finery. Something about my dress spoke to me and that's how I knew :) -- It was a lot of fun!!!

What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides? : Be organized and enjoy the experience. It's a lot of work but so worth it when your wedding day turns out to be the most amazing and magical day of your life!

Where was your honeymoon? : It's coming up, this September. We're going on an African Safari.
