The Bridal Finery real bride, Suzanne, and husband Brian said ‘I Do’ at their destination wedding at The Alfond Inn! While Winter Park is often seen as a local wedding for many Central Floridians, Winter Park served as a destination wedding for this couple! Their families are located on the West Coast and North East so it only made sense to bring everyone to Florida! Suzanne wore an Ines Di Santo strapless wedding dress and accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces. Tali styled Suzanne for her special day. The Alfond Inn is a staple here in Winter Park. The venue is best known for its art and local feel. Visitors and locals fall in love with the location and all that the venue has to offer! Tali helped Suzanne select the perfect dress for their wedding at the Alfond Inn. Her dress, the ‘Libson’ dress by Ines Di Santo features sweetheart embroidered silk organza gown, fit-to-flare shape and finished with an illusion back. Just like the Alfond Inn, this Ines Di Santo wedding gown is a staple dress that has an artistic flair to it through the beaded details and open back. Her dress was paired perfectly with a detachable overskirt and stunning bridal jewelry.

About the Event. Where was the event held? Our spring wedding ceremony was held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration and our wedding reception was at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park.

How did you choose the venue? What was the event like?  My husband Brian and I met in Florida and decided that it would be the perfect place to bring our families together.  My family is from Pittsburgh and his family is from San Diego so we decided to have everyone get together in Winter Park! It’s such a cute little town and we were excited to share our favorite place with our friends and family.  The Alfond Inn is a unique hotel and there’s honestly something for everyone.  It was truly the best weekend. 

Where was your first date? Epcot

How did your partner propose?  Brian and I were living in Pittsburgh at the time, but he surprised me at dinner by telling me that we were going to Florida for the weekend in two days so that I could pack.  He arranged everything for the trip, including bringing our cat, Bella!  He proposed to me shortly after we arrived.  We ended up going to our favorite restaurant Hillstone to celebrate that night and the next day went back to where our first date was at Epcot. 

What was your dress shopping experience like?   The best!  I was so nervous on the day of my dress appointment because I didn’t know what to expect and it was our first appointment, but it ended up being my favorite memory!  My mom and sister came with me that day and we met with Tali, who is the absolute sweetest.  My sister had to be on a work call at the start of our appointment so my mom and I went in and talked with Tali.  She was so nice and welcoming to us.  After chatting for a bit, we each picked a dress in the store for me to try on.  It was such a special moment because I ended up loving the dress that my mom had picked out.  By the time my sister came in from the call the dress was picked and the other appointments were canceled!  It was nice because I was able to get my jewelry, veil, skirt, and shoes at The Bridal Finery and complete the look in one day.  We also went to Hillstone that day to celebrate :)
