Our bride, Jessica is a wedding planner in the industry here in Central Florida. We were so lucky she chose to buy her wedding dress at our Winter Park Bridal Store. Jessica had a beautiful wedding in Central Florida at Howey Mansion and then a smaller, more intimate gathering in France where she is from.

How did your partner propose?

He proposed in Chicago where he is from, inside the glass box of the Willis Tower. Pretty scary haha

What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?

Amazing! Roberta and Tali are such amazing individuals! Roberta, who was my main stylist, guided me through the whole process and made me feel at ease. Let's not forget she also found the wedding dress of my dreams.

What was your favorite bridal accessory?

My mother's earrings of course but also the Calvin Klein necklace she got me. I had also added to my hair a nice hairpiece to go with my braid

Did you plan your own wedding?

Yes, being in the wedding industry I knew what I wanted =) I had a day of Coordinator for our wedding in the US at the Howey Mansion but the intimate one in France was all me.

how to travel with your wedding dress

What did you love most about your intimate wedding in France?

My mother being there. She unfortunately didn't make it to the one in the US so having her in photos with us in France was all I wanted. I also can't deny the castle where we did it was a beautiful bonus.

What advice as a planner and a bride do you have for future brides?

Definitely start early so you can take your time, not stress and book the vendors you want! I always say it's like Black Friday, vendors get booked up so quickly! My other most important advice is to get a wedding planner, at least for month of! It is such a relief to have a professional one who you know will take care of everything so that the day of your wedding, you don't have to stress or make a family member set up for you.
