Where was your first date? : We went to Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando and had a romantic picnic.
How did your partner propose? : Jose is from Chicago and wanted to show me his town since it was my first time. He proposed in the glass box at the Willis Tower in Chicago. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge’s glass box extends out 4.3 feet from the Skydeck which is very scary, especially considering Jose is afraid of heights! Regardless of his fear, he did it and proposed! Jose is from Chicago and wanted to show me his town, it was my first time.
What was your dress experience like? : I was able to wear my dream wedding dress thanks to the help of my consultant Roberta! She was such an amazing helper, making sure the process went smoothly. It was a nerve wracking first day for me to try on wedding dresses and she helped me through every step and thanks to her it was an amazing experience! They have such a beautiful collection of wedding dresses and jewelry you won’t be disappointed!
Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: The Howey Mansion in Howey-in-the-Hills. It is such a beautiful mansion and perfect, romantic wedding venue. We chose this venue because we felt that it was just so “us”!
What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides? : It’s always best to hire wedding professionals rather than your best friend or a family member. You want your friends and family to enjoy your wedding and not worry about the details or stress! Leave it up to the professionals! It also helps you to not get upset with your friend or family member if something doesn’t go your way.
Where was your honeymoon? : We flew back to my home country, France, to take a Mediterranean cruise to Ibiza, Barcelona, and Genova, a beautiful city in Italy. We stayed a few days after that in the South of France in Saint Tropez with my family.
