Kari Wears Ines Di Santo to her Blue Ridge Wedding
When we were finalizing the concept of The Bridal Finery, Roberta and me mentioned the importance of making the boutique a place where our friends and family would like to shop. I guess that's the moment when we gave the business some soul. I was honored and excited when Kari contacted me regarding her wedding dress! Kari and I use to work together at a bridal boutique years ago. After she left the boutique to pursue a new career, I reached out to her for a styled shoot. She modeled a lace wedding dress and bridal accessories for an editorial spread. When Kari got engaged, she reached out to me while we were building The Bridal Finery. Then, two weeks after we opened she found her Ines Di Santo wedding dress with us!
The moment she tried on "Chic" from Ines Di Santo, I knew it was the one for her.
During her visit, she shared with me all the things about the wedding that had significant importance to her. Her and her fiance, Rob, were planning 25 person Blue Ridge farm wedding. She hired Shannon from Vine & Light to capture the details. Having a dress that photographs well was high on the list. The moment she tried on "Chic" from Ines Di Santo, I knew it was the one for her. She looked so happy. She was gitty! She tried on a few other concepts, but I knew she would end up back in the Ines Di Santo. The dress comes in an ivory and cameo color. Her dress was cameo with ivory lace. During alterations she decided on a traditional bustle with the seamstress. We went back and forth on a clean veil and lace veil. She finalized on our lace veil by Girl and a Serious Dream. The French lace border on the veil added another piece of finery to her wedding day wardrobe!
A month or two after her first visit, she brought Rob into the boutique. Roberta and I felt so special when she brought Rob in so we could meet him. We always hear so much about our brides' significant others; however, we don't always have the opportunity to meet them. Seeing how happy they are together made us happy. We wish Kari and Rob a lifetime of happiness!
