How did you & Chris meet?
We met at work, he was a the new Project Manager and I was his Coordinator.
Where was your first date?
He took me to Dinner at T-rex Cafe and then dancing at House of Blues.
How did Chris propose?
He secretly drove me to Cocoa Beach Christmas Morning and asked me to marry him on the beach, as the sun was rising.
What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?
I had the best time with Tali, she reach out to me a few days before to ask some question about my style and to send her some inspiration photos. I new exactly what I was looking for from the dress shape to and even the type of lace I wanted. When I arrived everyone was so friendly and I felt so special. Tali showed me a few dresses, under my budget, but I just didn't have that wow moment. Until she showed me this gorgeous lace fitted dress. I tired it on and told her that I loved everything about it except the top. She then told me not a problem, "we can make this into anything you want" and so we did. I went from a sweetheart neckline to a plunge, cap lace sleeves to sleeveless open back illusion dress. The Bridal Finery gave me the opportunity to have a One of a Kind Dress. It was stunning and fit me like a glove.
What bridal accessory was your favorite?
I had two, my Maria Elena headpiece and my custom cathedral veil my Mother made for me.
What do you love most Paradise Cove?
My Husband and I love the water. The lake views were stunning at Sunset. We felt like we were at a tropical private island and did not have to leave town.
What is one thing you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?
How important a wedding planner could really be, not just for planning but for the day of coordination.
How would you describe the overall feel of your wedding?
Our wedding overall was a party, it was also romantic and lighthearted. From the live guitarist to the grooms speed boat entrance, it was one of the best days of our lives. We planned for 16 months, had our ups and down but in the end would not have changed a signal thing.
What was your wedding color palette?
Rose Gold, Sapphire Blue, and Ivory
What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides?
You and your fiancée are going to disagree over certain aspects of the wedding, its okay. Each of you should choose 1 to 2 items that are really important to you, ( photos, videography, cake, food, etc) regardless of price and make it work with your budget. Those are the things that will make your wedding memorable. If you can afford it, I would not plan past 12 months. Wedding fatigue sets in and the joy of the big day starts to fade.(Until the Big Day Arrives)
Where will your honeymoon be?
Once we are free and clear of Covid, we plan to take a two week European tour to Amsterdam, Spain, and Greece.
What are you enjoying most about newlywed life?
I get this question asked a lot, My husband and I have been together now for 9 years, so not much has changed in our daily lives other than I get to call him my husband and he introduces me as his Wife, which is so bizarre and I absolutely adore it. But, if I have to choose it would be that my son now gets to call him his Stepdad.
