Roberta and I are celebrating a successful week of helping brides find their wedding dress and prepping for our very first trunk show, Theia Couture! We have 20 wedding dress arriving from Theia Couture on Monday! We will be steaming, tagging, and possibly modeling a few for our Instagram! The dresses will be here November 27th - December 4th before they are shipped back to the designer.

There is so much to love about the Theia wedding dress collection. Designer Don O'Neil is known for making effortless, boho-chic wedding dresses in breathable fabrics ideal for the Florida or destination bride. We admire his ability to offer a variety of styles while still sticking with sheath silhouettes. An average wedding dress takes eight months to be produced; however, Theia offers the option to have a dress produced in a shorter amount of time. This leaves more time for alterations and provides piece of mind. Theia designs for all sizes (check out my post Sexy Has No Size). During our trunk show we will have Theia wedding dresses that fit a size 2- 16.

You may be wondering what a trunk show is. The event name "trunk show" is often misused. Trunk Show does not mean "Trunk Sale". A Trunk Show is when the designer sends a "trunk" full of wedding dress to a boutique to give brides the opportunity to try on dresses from the latest collection. Most of the dresses are not currently available in boutiques. They are Fall 2018 wedding dresses and won't be in store until late Spring. The Trunk Show is a sneak peek to try on the dresses before the boutique samples arrive. It is ideal for a bride that loves to be ahead of the trend! We cannot wait to meet our brides and help them with their Theia wedding dress!
