90's Inspired Wedding Design for Bridal Fashion Presentation
Every summer we host fashion presentations in our Winter Park, Florida bridal shop. While the concept of the event was similar to previous presentations, this year was a bit different. We not only hosted our presentations in our new shop, but we also followed the Orlando mask mandate and adhered to social distance guidelines.
The presentation was held in our newest location so we used this time as a way of a grand opening. Opening a shop in the midst of a pandemic and stay at home order didn’t allow us to have a proper grand opening party, but we feel our fashion presentations are the perfect solution!
During the presentation, guests had access to our newest collection of dresses and trends in floral and design. Tali and Roberta showcased the collection of dresses and talked about the custom changes we offer through our service and dress selection. Guests were truly wowed by the number of changes we make to each bride’s dress!
Let’s take a look at the special moments from our first of four fashion presentations!
Floral, design, details, and custom backdrop: Revel is known for their custom and artist approach to floral and design. Last year, they created a stunning dry palm mural that was in place as the backdrop. Because they are always different and never the same, they wanted to play up their other strengths, colors! Owner Katie and Stacey love to play with color.
As a base, Katie’s husband custom-built a pink channeled wall backdrop and hand-painted to perfection with a millennial pink color. Adding more candy colors, the Revel team chose a range of florals including plumosus, anthuriums, roses, and dried birds of paradise and hand-painted them! The fun 90’s inspired floral and details were a perfect play to our Winter Park shop which hosts shades of rose gold, blush, and cream.
Matcha bar: Each fashion presentation we have a signature drink. At previous presentations, we had specialty cocktails, mimosas, and coffee. In the wake of COVID-19 in 2020, it’s no secret that it’s more important than ever before to eat healthily, take vitamins, and workout. Knowing this, when I was choosing a signature drink, I wanted to avoid serving sugars and alcohol but serve something healthy and delicious! So, we served chocolate matcha and pumpkin matcha! Matcha has endless health benefits including helping with sharper focus, detox, and revitalizes skin through reducing toxin and build up.
The recipes are below. *disclaimer - I am not barista so I made these drinks without using specific measurements, BUT they still turned out delicious :)
Chocolate + coconut matcha: 6 to 7 second count of coconut milk from Aldi, a packet of chocolate matcha, mix and serve over ice and complete with coconut whipped cream!

Pumpkin Spiced Matcha: 6 to 7 second count of oat milk from Aldi, a packet of pumpkin spice flavored matcha, 2 second count of maple syrup, mix and serve over ice.
