Why you should add the 2020 Pantone Class Blue color of the year to your wedding colors
2020 is only weeks away and Pantone has shared the color of the year. ‘Classic Blue’ is a color that has caused a bit of confusion. People have been sharing on social media they wanted a warmer color, richer, or even ‘prettier’ color. But we have to disagree. Blue is the new black. Pantone describes Classic Blue as '“Imprinted in our psyches as a restful color, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge. Aiding concentration and bringing laser-like clarity, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue re-centers our thoughts. A reflective blue tone, Classic Blue fosters resilience.” During wedding planning, who wouldn’t want to have the feeling of tranquility and peace? Blue is a shade that has a lot of representation throughout national brands and it does make a stunning event planning color. This doesn’t mean that all weddings need to be a sea of blue details, but be prepared to see hints of blue and cooler tones this wedding season. “I think most people forget there are variations of every color. I’m sure there will be different ranges of blue in 2020. This doesn’t mean that everything will be this specific shade, but we may start to see shades of cooler tones entering event decor, design, and interior design industries.” -Jamie O’Neill, The Bridal Finery Fashion Director.
The Bridal Finery Fashion Presentations - Mid Century Modern Romance
on June 25, the forth week of The Bridal Finery Fashion Presentations was inspired by the mid century modern current trend. While home decor trends aren’t typical for wedding decor trends, Jamie wanted to show brides and wedding professionals you can take any trend and bring it to life through wedding planning. Details and decor was designed by REVEL. Jamie selected REVEL for floral & rentals for this presentation. REVEL is known for their unique aesthetic and cool girl vibe. Trending dried palms and colors of yellow, beige, millennial pink, and cream floral.
The Bridal Finery Fashion Presentations - Dreamy Lavender and Blue Blooms
Our Fashion Presentations are continuing through the month of June. While our first week was inspired by a flower shop and spring flowers, our second week of presentations took a different route. When making design and color inspiration selections, shades of lavender and soft blue kept coming to mind. While blush tones have been trending in floral design over the past year, I wanted a color scheme that went against what most brides have been requesting. During our hour long Fashion Presentations, guests sipped on our signature lemon and lavender champagne drink and snacked on lemon poppy seed cake bites with lavender honey caramel Swiss meringue butter cream filling and honey topping.
The Bridal Finery Fashion Presentations - Peach and Pink Floral Inspiration
