2020 is only weeks away and Pantone has shared the color of the year. ‘Classic Blue’ is a color that has caused a bit of confusion. People have been sharing on social media they wanted a warmer color, richer, or even ‘prettier’ color. But we have to disagree. Blue is the new black. Pantone describes Classic Blue as '“Imprinted in our psyches as a restful color, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge. Aiding concentration and bringing laser-like clarity, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue re-centers our thoughts. A reflective blue tone, Classic Blue fosters resilience.” During wedding planning, who wouldn’t want to have the feeling of tranquility and peace? Blue is a shade that has a lot of representation throughout national brands and it does make a stunning event planning color. This doesn’t mean that all weddings need to be a sea of blue details, but be prepared to see hints of blue and cooler tones this wedding season. “I think most people forget there are variations of every color. I’m sure there will be different ranges of blue in 2020. This doesn’t mean that everything will be this specific shade, but we may start to see shades of cooler tones entering event decor, design, and interior design industries.” -Jamie O’Neill, The Bridal Finery Fashion Director.

I’m not typically the sentimental type and I’m a minimalist yet this is my number one reason to clean and preserve your dress. I’ve heard of countless stories of brides drinking some red wine with their mom at home and pulling out grandma or mom’s wedding dress. It’s fun! It’s an experience just to be able to see it. Maybe even a good laugh at the poufy sleeves or the vintage style neckline. I can imagine all the memories that come rushing in as the wedding dress and veil are unpacked. 2019 is quickly coming to an end, so it’s time to round up our picks from this year! Destination weddings have become so popular in wedding planning. From having family placed all over the world, to having a wedding and honeymoon in the same setting, more and more brides and grooms are planning destination weddings every day. Located at the house Brynn grew up in, Brynn and Ross celebrated their special day in an outside ceremony in Sarasota, Florida. Surrounded by friends, family, and lush fall flowers, the wedding was nothing short of a romantic and elegant gathering. Brynn and Ross’s wedding reception was also outside. The bride, groom, and guests sat at farm tables that were decorated with gold, mustard yellow, and cream tones. The warm colors set the perfect tone for their black-tie affair fall wedding. Keeping the fall tones throughout the wedding, Brynn’s bridesmaids wore a range of jewel-tone bridesmaids dresses. Each bridesmaid wore a different dress and color that works best for them. One of our brides, Ally, is Brynn’s best friend! She was a bridesmaid and wore a stunning emerald green off the shoulder bridesmaids dress. We love this modern bridesmaid take on a classic tradition.

Dan and Leilani have the sweetest love story and first date story! From friendship to lovers, you can truly feel their love in their wedding photos! To celebrate their big day, Dan and Leilani had a tropical summer wedding in Lake Mary, Florida. There were endless details of tropical flowers and greenery throughout their wedding. Real bride Nicole and husband, Chris celebrated their wedding day at Highland Manor this fall. Their wedding was rustic yet formal with colors of white, navy, and burgundy. Nicole wore a beautiful classic organza ball gown by Alyne by Rita Vinieris. Bringing the rustic and classic feel to life through her wedding gown, Nicole customized the bodice of her gown by adding organza to the bodice and a beaded belt to her waist. To celebrate our two year anniversary, we hosted a garden party at The Alfond Inn in Winter Park! We invited some of our clients to this event and was a ‘thank you’ to them. This garden party was inspired by the Lela Rose Fall 2019 collection debut. Our garden party was a true reflection of our brand, we are an intimate one fitting room bridal boutique. We wanted to host an event that was intimate, relaxing, beautiful, and inviting. Our garden party was brought to life through the setting, flower bar, food, drinks, and music. We hosted our 2-year anniversary garden party on the Courtyard Lawn at The Alfond Inn, located in Winter Park, FL. This space was perfect for this!
