Congratulations, The Bridal Finery real bride, Ally! Ally is a bride our whole team loved styling. She lights up every room she walks in and does it in the most fabulous way. TBF Owner and Stylist, Roberta styled Ally for her wedding day. Ally wore a blush beaded Theia wedding gown that features a cold shoulder and soft flutter sleeves. Roberta completed her look with a gold crown with bow details and drop earrings by Maria Elena Headpieces and a silk tulle veil by Girl and a Serious Dream. Ally’s passion and natural eye for fashion made styling her a dream. We love Ally’s passion for styling so much that we asked her to join us for our Met Gala 2019 Facebook live coverage. Owners of The Bridal Finery, Tali Gallo & Roberta Noronha have a combined 25 years of experience in bridal fashion. While they have been business partners for two years, they have been coworkers for 11. While Tali was in her early twenties and managing at Victoria’s Secret in Gainesville, Florida she was recruited as a bridal stylist. Years later, she recruited Roberta to bridal in Gainesville and the two ladies moved to Orlando to advance their career in bridal. In Orlando, they managed the same companies Orlando location. He proposed in Paris. I have always wanted my photo taken by this Parisian photographer I have been following for years. In between shots, I was fixing my hair. I see him walking toward me and whispered “I love you, honey.” followed by more beautiful words that I can’t remember because I blanked out from the shock,and just said ‘YES!’. 

Here at The Bridal Finery, we are known for our unique store concept. We are an off the rack bridal boutique. We are the first boutique in the Orlando and Winter Park area to be selling gowns sustainably and off the rack. While sample sales have been around forever, off the rack bridal boutiques are relatively new. This new concept allows brides to shop sample sales everyday. Because we are a new concept bridal boutique to the Central Florida area, we often are questioned what the perks are of purchasing off the rack. Our Fashion Director, Jamie O’Neill had the opportunity to guest speak on the Orange Blossom Bride podcast. This was my first time speaking on a podcast, so I wanted to share something that has been recently talked about and something not everyone understands. Sustainability in fashion is a new concept designers and retailers are now taking into consideration. In 2019, we are starting to care about things that are bigger than us. While use of minimal straws and plastic cups are good, it’s important to consider what we wear everyday. Because fashion and sustainability aren’t always thought of as the same thing, we never think about the affects of the fashion industry. According to The Fashion Law, “By 2030, it is predicted that the industry’s water consumption will grow by 50 percent to 118 billion cubic meters (or 31.17 trillion gallons), its carbon footprint will increase to 2,791 million tons and the amount of waste it creates will hit 148 million tons.”

I tried on 2 dresses and immediately loved both. But when I put “the dress” back on, my parents and I both knew that it was the one. Suddenly, the confusion was gone, and it was super clear! It felt so much like me and it was exactly what I had been saying I wanted.
The whole process from then on was a breeze! I worked with Roberta from start to finish - picking out the dress to the very last fitting. The fittings and alterations were always so detail oriented, and it was clear that Sarah really cared and wanted everything to be perfect. Even after I dropped the “Surprise - I’m pregnant!” bomb! They made my dress PERFECT for my baby bump. I couldn’t have been happier!

on June 25, the forth week of The Bridal Finery Fashion Presentations was inspired by the mid century modern current trend. While home decor trends aren’t typical for wedding decor trends, Jamie wanted to show brides and wedding professionals you can take any trend and bring it to life through wedding planning. Details and decor was designed by REVEL. Jamie selected REVEL for floral & rentals for this presentation. REVEL is known for their unique aesthetic and cool girl vibe. Trending dried palms and colors of yellow, beige, millennial pink, and cream floral.
